that was the first I heard of six titles being cancelled, though. I almost had a heart attack thinking one was Stormwatch. (Mee: NOOOOOO! We just got it BACK!)
Yeah, I heard about the canned books - two of them written by two of the very few black creators in mainstream comics, apparently, so two cheers for DCnU diversity :|
And I'm likewise relieved Stormwatch escaped the chop. I haven't been crazy about the current run, but there's about to be a new writer so I'm still interested.
To be fair, the two titles are Mister Terrific and Static Shock-- both completely lame books with no following whatsoever. They come into our shop and sit on the shelf. -_- Batwing is staying on, though, and so is Batwoman, so there's a black character and a lesbian character for you.
It's about time Hawk and Dove got cancelled. We've been making jokes about wiping our arses with that one for months. ;) [It's a Rob Liefeld, after all...]
