I so want number 6, but not as a film, as a TV show! Each week they could go on different cases, and the expanded time of a TV show would give us the time for things we never get to see, like Star and Ric cuddled in front of the TV. :)
Also, you mentioned how awesome Fassbender was--and he was--but MacAvoy deserves as much credit. He gave us an Xavier who was almost vile he was such a jerk, but the seeds of who he would be were so clear. I think he'd be perfect for Jamie. Who else could get in all the bits of his personality?
