Hee! I'm so glad you liked it. It was terribly fun to write. I started out thinking it would just be this dorky little drabble thing and it just kept growing; I have this need to give everybody a 'moment' or a good line even when it's mostly a Ric'n'Star story. And I seem to find them most funny when viewed through Jamie's weary eyes :)

And yeah, somehow along the way I decided that Ric, Rahne, Layla and Terry were the team Tolkien nerds XD. I think my headcanon, such as it is, is that Ric will read anything once and doesn't have any literary snobbery about genres or anything.
